About

Why am I doing this?

Devil Wears Eyeblack  is a sports blog for the non-sports fan. Bottom line: I’m here so your boyfriend stops yelling at you for asking questions why his team  is going for it on 4th and inches. I’m basically the notes you would write on the inside of your hand with sharpie in high school for exams, but just geared towards sports.

Who am I?

My name’s Meg and If everything was right in the world I would know NOTHING about sports. I wasn’t raised with around brothers and I lack any sense of athletic ability.  I basically tore my ACL in gym class playing lacrosse in 8th grade and had to go to PT. Some say pathetic, others could say dedicated. Fast forward to college and I became a Sideline Reporter for the Cape Cod Baseball League and WBZ Radio, as well as spending a year working at WEEI Sports Radio in Boston. So I guess you could say thatI might know a thing or two and when I don’t I’ll just BS it. Fake it til’ you make it baby. I’m a firm believer of pics or it didn’t happen, so see for yourself below.

It’s not what the blog can do for you, but what you can do for the blog.

We’re open to any and all suggestions and anyone that knows me personally will tell you I can ramble on for just about any topic. That’s what we’re here for. Want to know the deets about some topic that guy you’ve been eyeing at the bar was talking about? Fill out the “Contact Us” form below and nobody will ever know that you couldn’t tell the difference between a balk and a RBI two days ago.

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that?s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
