NHL, Yay, sports!

Patriots Week 2 Preview-@ Seahawks on SNF.

This blog is brought to you by the sound “sē “. As in the Patriots are playing the SEAhawks on Sunday Night Football. Also, you can thank the letter “C”, because this blog almost didn’t happen because I decided not to eat carbs for 24 hours and got a headache, but then big shouts to my breakfast sandwich on a Croissant that brought me back to life. Also for Cam Newton, go read this blog, if you need further explanation.

ANY HOO.

Be thankful you’re still working from home if you’re going to watch the Pats this week, kick off time is a late one at 8:20 on NBC for Sunday Night football. On the bright side we get to see that long legged goddess Carrie Underwood on the intro, and you can “work” from your couch with your heavy eye lids the next day.

DWEB Fun Fact: The last Pats game I attended was against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. Remember to going to things like sports games? I’m not going to cry. I’m not going to cry. I don’t however miss the traffic on Route 1 trying to leave Foxborough.

Shout out to my pretty frands.

Friday Fun Facts

  • The Seahawks are very good, and coached by former Patriots Head Coach Pete Carroll.
  • Bill Belichick has glowing things to saw about the Seahawks Quarterback Mr. Ciara Russell Wilson.

“Honestly, I think he’s in a way underrated by the media or the fans, I don’t know. But I don’t really see anybody better than this player,” Belichick said Thursday morning. “This guy is a tremendous player.” – Per ESPN.com.

  • Let’s not forget that this man coached TOM FREAKING BRADY for nearly 20 years.
  • In something unfamiliar to Patriots fans, they are a considerable underdog going into Sunday’s game. But you know what they say, “Big dogs gotta eat”.

Last week’s brutal pun: Squish the fish

This week I’ve out done myself: Folk the hawks.

(Pats kicker is Nick Folk and I would have used another choice of words, but even at 30 I’m still afraid of being yelled at by my Mom).

Go Pats!
